Olivia Hazelwood-Bromm
Concentrates her practice in family law. She represents clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, paternity, protective orders, modifications, and other family law matters. Olivia believes that family law matters require practical advice and straightforward communication. She understands that clients often come to an attorney during a difficult period in their lives and works to help them understand their options and navigate the legal process.
Originally from north-central Indiana, Olivia moved to Indianapolis to attend college and remained there through law school and the beginning of her legal career. While in Indianapolis, she began working in family law as a Certified Legal Intern and later became an Associate Attorney, representing clients in divorce, paternity, and protective order matters.
Olivia later relocated to Jasper and was excited for the opportunity to continue building her family law practice in southern Indiana.
In addition to her legal practice, Olivia has served as a Parenting Time Supervisor and CASA/GAL volunteer with Kid’s Voice of Indiana. Through those experiences, she has worked directly with children and families involved in difficult and sometimes high-conflict situations. Olivia has always been interested in family law. She believes that when family problems arise, having a good lawyer can make a difficult situation more manageable, and she strives to provide clients with practical, no-nonsense advice while advocating for their interests.
Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, with minors in Legal Studies and Public Policy. She graduated with Honors and Highest Distinction, earned a 3.9 GPA, and was named to the Dean’s List for all eight semesters. Olivia earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she graduated in the top 30 percent of her class. During law school, she served as Vice President of the Feminist Law Society and remained involved in the legal and broader university communities.
Outside of the office, Olivia enjoys gardening, home improvement and DIY projects, and creative pursuits. She enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring southern Indiana and is happy to call Jasper home.
Best to you and yours,
